Sahara Mirage is my fourth Lalaloopsy doll. This is the one I scored for less than retail from Yardsellr. I also have yet to share the kids’ Valentine’s gifts, as they each got a big doll. All in good time. 🙂
Lalaloopsy on Yardsellr
Have you heard about Yardsellr.com yet? It’s a really cool selling website with all sorts of things for sale on it. From used to new items- baby to adult clothing and LALALOOPSY DOLLS! You can see what comes up in a search here. I was able to get a Sahara Mirage doll for 29.99 + FREE shipping and I used $10 in Photon$ (their virtual money reward) to get her for under retail. Not too bad for a hard to find Lalaloopsy doll eh? Yesterday I bought a new in the box My Little Pony to put away for $1.40! I literally got the item and shipping free and simply paid the 10% Yardsellr cut. The seller got 100% of her asking price because the awesome thing about Yardsellr is that there are NO seller’s fees! You can sell and get every bit of your asking price. All they ask is that you enter the tracking number and you then get paid by Paypal or check. In the case of my knitting and crochet patterns I forward them the email where I send the customer’s pattern and it’s easy as that! 🙂

Super huge Lalaloopsy post of the utter random
I have a few drafts in the works… one on my local in-store selection and tips on where to find Lalaloopsy dolls in Wilmington, North Carolina. Another is about my newest pet peeve ‘Lala Hoggs.’ But first I wanted to just kind of UNLOAD all of my latest Lala ideas because the kids and I are really excited about our family of Lalas, especially now that the boys finally have some too! Yep, the kids got their Valentine’s a bit early (mainly because the bags at WalMart SUCK and Dana’s doll fell out of the bag- thus him seeing it when I loaded up the van *sigh*) Noah and Ella have Sir Battlescarred and Lady Stillwaiting, Dana has his ‘little me’ twin Patch Treasurechest, and Alma wanted Prairie Dusty Trails. Fun photos are impending, the weather is so gloomy lately and I like a little more sun for optimal pictures. See, I have big plans with these dolls…
First, the girls have been due for a room makeover for awhile. Nobody can seem to keep from drawing on one of her walls so I am going to paint it and a smaller wall adjacent (for accent) in bright purple chalkboard paint. The rest of her walls and trim will remain white and I need to look for sturdy drapes to go on their new curtain rod. The final touch will be painting the back walls of their wall shelf in rainbow colors top pink, second yellow, third green, fourth aqua. I’ll post progress pictures as I go! I am planning on getting all the Lalaloopsy posters laminated. We have 11 altogether now so Ella and Alma really WILL have a Lalaloopsy bedroom!
I’m also hatching grand schemes for knit and crochet patterns for these dolls. I think we have just about every hairstyle now so creating hoodies and other headgear will be custom fit to YOUR doll! Nix on that for now- there will be something to show after I knock a few much needed projects off my list.
Lastly, the kids and I have fun projects and parties planned with our Lalaloopsy dolls. I’ll be happy to share our ideas and plan to provide plenty of eye candy!

New Lala Addition to Our Family :: Marina Anchors
My third Lalaloopsy. I loved her at first sight and had to have her but I couldn’t find her under $45-50 dollars on Ebay or Amazon. Finally I found her online at Target and instock for 19.99! Not too bad, after tax and shipping I barely paid over retail for this sweet beauty. 🙂
I do believe the girls think they’ve died and gone to Heaven with all these Lalaloopsy dolls their obsessed momma keeps buying! I think Matey is next for me and I am going to hunt for Toffee Cocoa Cuddles & Swirly Figure Eight to put away for Ella’s birthday and the Littles they want (Trinket Sparkles and Sprinkle Spice Cookie) for Easter baskets.

New Lala Addition to Our Family :: Pix E Flutters
We have a brand new Lala to add to our collection! There’s a bit of a story behind her too! Initially I bought her to put away for Ella’s birthday (coming in just a few months- eek!) but darling Noah spied the doll box in the bag and blabbed about her to all the kids. So I opened her and Alma laid claim IMMEDIATELY LOL! She is still her favorite and she won’t go anywhere without her Pix E! Sir and Lady arrived today as well but for now they still sit in the brown box they came in. 😉

Meet Mango Tiki Wiki! She was sewn on May 2nd (Play Your Ukulele Day) from a grass skirt. She’s an island girl who loves the sunshine. Her favorite hobbies are carving coconuts, listening to music, and making fresh flower bracelets. She has a pet pineapple bird.
